Jerusalem Post " Anti- Semitism highest since WWII

The Jerusalem Post came out with an article today in which they listed the countries which anti-semitism has increased. It found that following operation Cast Lead anti-semitism in Western Europe increased to a level not seen since the close of World War II. The information was released as part of an annual report on anti-semitism,presented during a press conference at the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem. Natan Sharansky mentioned that "classical anti- semeitsim is changing, and its been replaced with a new anti-Semitism, which takes the shape in the form of unbridled attacks against the idea of a Jewish state." Anti- semitism is defined by the "demonization, delegitimization and the double standard for the Jews." The report listed Iran and Venezuela as the the World's most anti- Semitic countries and warned against the strengthening bond between the two countries and the increasing apathy to the Muslim hatred of the Jews.
The fact that Venezuela is reported as the "most anti-semitic country in the world" stresses the threat the Jewish Community is facing there. The president is creating a stronger alliance with the Arab countries and the relationship shows no signs of weakening.
